33.

I turned 33 today.

THIRTY-THREE.

That’s so… adult.

That was yesterday… I was 32.  Less adult 🙂

When I was flying home last night, I was thinking about how different I feel this year than I did last year.  For one thing, I am happy.  I can honestly say that.  Not every day and not with every single thing happening in my life, but I am happy.  And that feels good.  It’s not that I wasn’t happy last year, it’s just that I feel different… a little more settled, in a way.

At 33, I …

  • Am grateful…
  • Love my family and am trying to embrace their individual crazy…
  • Cry easily…
  • Laugh easily…
  • Giggle a LOT…
  • Feel more comfortable in my own skin…
  • Love the bright pants trend (and wear them, thighs be damned!)…
  • Have an ever-expanding (and in my opinion, quite awesome) necklace collection…
  • Am back on the road for work… (<– Need to work on that one)
  • Cherish my friends more than ever…
  • Want to figure out a couple of big “life plans”…
  • Should eat a little healthier and exercise a little more… (<– working on that, too)
  • Am less concerned with “what people think” and more concerned with “am I doing the right thing”…
  • Am trying to put myself first when it comes to my health and my body…
  • Still sing in the shower…
  • Procrastinate a little more than I should…
  • Want to become reacquainted with my crafty side (paper and sewing, especially)…
  • Want to take a sewing class…
  • Want to travel more…
  • Should hire a cleaning lady…
  • Work hard…
  • Take naps…

…and so much more.

Here’s to a great 33.  Figuring out life, celebrating with friends and embracing the crazy :).
