I had the pleasure of trying my hand at photographing my friend’s twins a couple of weekends ago. This was the first time that I’ve held such a small baby (2 weeks and they had arrived early), let alone photographed them. Elsie and Sam were extremely well-behaved and I went home really wanting a baby (hi J).
When I got to their house, I got nervous and completely forgot to change my ISO when we went outside (hey rookie). But… if you like the washed out look, you’ll be in love with Elsie and Sam… or if you just like cute baby toes.
Not ALL of them are over-exposed (some are even good), but the photos above reinforce my
desire need for continued photography lessons. My composition had such potential!
I’m hoping that Sam and Elsie’s parents will allow me back, this time without my nerves and with my basic camera fundamentals in tact. Sheesh.
Don’t those tootsies make you swoon??
I am expecting more babies in my future… Linnea, I am coming to visit, camera in tow. Adam and Cristin, my niece is going to have to get used to having a camera in her face because she lives close and I’m obsessed with baby photos.
For those of you in the know, please give me your pointers on photographing babies in natural light… thanks!
