Simon Says: Silikids is Awesome! (GIVEAWAY!)

A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out some of the new Silikids products. I was really excited to try them because I immediately loved the look of the products. Great colors and amazing packaging. I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but you know…

SILIKIDS1

We’ve been using the same spoons and sippy cups since Simon started eating solids / drinking water from a sippy cup, so I was looking forward to branching out a bit. These fun products were a great branch out. I love that they’re silicone and thus, really durable – I also really like that Simon will grow into them, but they’re still usable, even before he’s feeding himself.

Enter the giveaway below for a chance to win your own set of silicone Silikids products. I promise you’ll think they’re just as cool as I do. Read on for more information…

This giveaway is valid for US Only.

a Rafflecopter giveawaySilibib: I love that this bib is completely wipeable and has a pocket to catch all of the peas that Simon has been dropping these days.

Siliskin Glass Cup: We really love this glass cup! I am a big fan of a glass for home and this glass was no exception. We use glass bottles and this felt like a natural extension. Simon has easily adjusted (from his plastic sippy) to drinking from the Siliskin Glass Cup – there aren’t handles, but he can still get a good grasp because of the silicone sleeve.

Silispoon: The spoons are made like a shovel to make it easier for kids to pick up their own food. I think it’s a little big for Simon’s mouth right now, but it was perfect for my 2 year old niece. She loved using it herself. SILIKIDS2

Simon liked it too, but until he’s trying to pick up his own food, it was a bit hard to feed him just because of the size of the “spatula style head”.

SILIKIDS3

Something tells me that no matter how you deliver his banana and peanut butter, he’s happy :).

Siliskin Straw Tops: I am super excited about these tops. I am already sick of carrying a sippy cup everywhere we go and Simon is only 8 months old. I threw one of these in the diaper bag this weekend and found it to be super easy… as long as you have a glass, you can create a spill-proof straw cup. Simon still needs some help holding a cup with just the siliskin, but still, totally mom approved!

Overall, I have been really happy with all of these Silikids products. In addition to their great design, they are also dishwasher safe. I’ve washed everything multiple times and so far it’s holding up very well. Best of all, both Simon and my niece seem to really like everything. M is a big fan of the spoons and Simon loves the sippy cup. I think that the siliskin is pretty awesome, especially to throw in the diaper bag so that I don’t have to carry a sippy cup when we go out.

SILIKIDS4

I definitely recommend these products, especially if you’re in the market for something a little different. Silicone, brightly colored, totally usable… big fan.

  1. Intrigued by the spoon design, looks like it’s just what my toddler needs!

    • I think the spoon design is PERFECT for toddlers. My niece loved it and it was much easier for her to get food onto the spoon and into her mouth… good luck!

  2. I love the straw tops! There have been several times we could have used that with William. What a great idea.

  3. These look so cool! I especially live the siliskin idea of not having to lug around a sippy cup!

  4. I haven’t tried their products yet but I would love the cup lids!! They seem perfect! Thanks so much for the chance!

  5. I haven’t used them before but now that my little one is transitioning from a sippy cup, these would be great to try!

  6. LOVE these products. Sippy tops are amazing, my 10 month old loves them. The straw tops are equaly amazing. And the spoons, yet again, awesome product!!

  7. We recently purchased the sippy lids and my 12 month old is OBSESSED! Would love to win some more products to try out!

  8. I can’t wait to try these out! Thanks for giving the reviews and the chance to win these! I will follow you on facebook and other sites as well 🙂

  9. I love how convenient the straw tops sound. My boy is 10 months and the sippy cup doesn’t stay in the diaper bag or he wants to throw it. I love having something that in a pinch will work! I might order them now! I also am a huge fan of dishwasher safe baby things! I agree the spoons sound perfect for someone a little older, definitely something to grow into! With how messy my baby is I pretty much will only use bibs I can wipe down or rinse off and neither have a pocket which would probably save me some time cleaning out his high chair. Today I vacuumed it, washed the pad and scrubbed it down, I swear I just did this!! So messy!!! Thanks for your suggestions

  10. Yes! I love their glasses–I have a toddler prone to throwing and they are so durable!

  11. Haven’t tried silikids products before but I am very interested in the straw lid since my little girl dislikes the sippy cup.

  12. I haven’t used their products before and I’d love to try the glass sippy!
